The pendant stone is 1 1/4" long, 1 3/8" wide, and 1/4" thick. The earring stones are 1 3/8" long, 1 1/16" wide and 1/8" thick

The settings and the earring wires are sterling silver; the set is hand crafted in Brazil.

All you have to do is look, to see why I chose this piece. The many shades of brown accented by the red, the open druzy pockets, the one crystal pocket at the top all add to the beauty of this piece. The earrings with the colors matching the pendant and with each having an open druzy pocket, takes this set over the top!

Similar in appearance to a rams horn, the ammonite stones are fossilized ammonite mollusks, a shelled cephalopod whose extinction coincided with the extinction of the dinosaurs.
